14 NIGHTS 15 DAYS GANGTOK - PELLING - YUKSOM TREK

Sikkim is a state in northeast India, bordered by Bhutan, Tibet and Nepal. Part of the Himalayas, the area has a dramatic landscape that includes India’s highest mountain, 8,586m Kangchenjunga. Sikkim is also home to glaciers, alpine meadows and thousands of varieties of wildflowers. Steep paths lead to hilltop Buddhist monasteries such as Pemayangtse, which dates to the early 1700s.

DAY0 1 : DELHI

On Arrival at International airport meet & welcome by local representative and then transfer to hotel over night at Delhi

DAY 02 : DELHI - BAGDOGRA GANGTOK (4/5 HRS)

After breakfast check out hotel then transport to domestic airport & Open arrival in Bagdogra Airport meet and welcome you by odyssey manager at the airport and then transfer you on a journey to Gangtok, on the way stop at Border line area at Rangpo between (Sikkim & west Bengal) for immigration. After short break drive to capital of Sikkim Gangtok. Tucked away in the clouds, Gangtok is spread out on a ridge 1860 m above sea level, and looks something out of a fairy tale with houses precariously balanced on the slopes of steep hills. Apart from the gorgeous view of deep valleys, waterfalls and snow-capped mountain ranges that separate from neighboring Tibet, Bhutan and Nepal. On arrival check inn to hotel over night at Gangtok

DAY 03 : GANGTOK-EXCURSION TSAMGO LAKE (03 HRS) 3757 MTR

After breakfast, drive to Tsomgo Lake, also means as The Source of the Lake (3,780m). Warm clothes needed for this place. The lake derives its water from melting snows off the surrounding mountains, which is one of the famous sacred lakes in Sikkim, situated near the borders of Tibet after Tsamgo Lake drive back to Gangtok evening relax and shop in the market.

DAY 04 : GANGTOK - PELLING VIA RAVANGLA

After breakfast drive to Pelling on the way, perched on top of the hill rising between the Rathong River and the Rangit River, it provides breathtaking views of the scenery below. En route visit Ravangla Buddha park on completed drive to pelling on arrival at Pelling visit Rabdantshe ruins Second capital of Sikkim Rabdanste Ruins are now being preserved by the Archaeological Survey of India and have been declared as a monument. & Pamayantse Monastery is situated less than a kilometer from Pelling. The monastery houses numerous religious idols and other objects of worship, most of which are priceless because of their antiquity. Pelling is indeed a nice place away from the hustle, bustle and noise. Here, you can breathtaking view of Mt Kanchenjunga in the clear day which is one of the oldest monasteries in Sikkim over night at Hotel.

DAY 05 : PELLING – YUKSOM

After breakfast Proceed to sight seen on the way passing by Rimbi Falls and Kanchenjunga Falls visit the placid & clear Khecheopari, means Wishing lake on completed drive to Yuksom First capital of Sikkim, on arrival check inn to hotel rest of the time preparation for Goecha-la trek next day.

DAY 06 : TREK YUKSOM TO TSHOKA (16 KM 6 - 7 HRS 2900 M)

After breakfast start our trek The trail We walk gently uphill, following the Rathong River’s gorge, through dense mixed jungle with magnolia, rhododendron, ferns and several varieties of orchids, brightly colored birds, and the occasional monkeys. now runs through rice wood hills abounding in flora and fauna going though moss-laden forests of Oak, Spruce, Chestnut, Fir, Pines, Giant Magnolias and Rhododendron. You can also view hundreds of varieties of exotic birds, butterflies and orchids. It takes about eight hours to reach Tsoka (2900 m) the destination for today.

DAY 07 : TSHOKA TO DZONGRI (10 KM 3990 MTR)

9 - km and six hours away, each step to Dzongri leads to the world of the famed Kanchenjunga massif. The spectacle at dawn and dusk tinted in softest hues is one never to be missed - a supernatural vision of ethereal beauty Dzongri Mean’s meetings place of man and mountain god over night at Dzongri

DAY 08 : DZONGRI TO THANGSHING 10 KM 5 HRS 3900 M)

Early morning walk up to Dzongri top for Sunrise which is 4200 Mtrs this view point is the one of the best view point for Goechala Trek when you reached in the top if the weather is clear you can see the prefect view of Mt Kanchendzonga also panoramic views of Sikkim Himalayas after sunrise back to camp for breakfast after breakfast slowly started trek to Thangshing easy walk in Rhododendrons with premolars with beautiful sceneries on arrival lunch after lunch walk around over night at Thangshing

DAY 09 : THANGSHING TO LAMUNEY 4300 M 3 HRS

After breakfast slowly start trek to Lamuney which is last base camp for Gochela Kanchendzonga trek today is relax day with acclimatization day need to be rest for next morning because you have to walk up early morning for view point over night at Lamuney

DAY 10 : LAMUNEY – GOECHALA 4990 MTR THANGSHING 3800 M 16 KM 7 TO 8 HRS

Early morning around 3 o clock start our trek to Goecha-la for Sunrise when you reached in Goecha-la view point you can see the front page of Mt Kanchendzonhga which is Third Highest pick in the world only 1 and half km far from the view point take a photo break and have some food walk around then back to Lamuney for Hot lunch after lunch slowly walk down to Thangshing over night at Tent

DAY 11 – THANGSHING - TSHOKA 2900 M 16 KM

After breakfast walk down to Tshoka which is really nice walk inside the Rhododendron trees with pine trees with premolars lunch at Phedang after lunch 2 hrs walk to Tshoka over night at Tent

DAY 12 : TSHOKA – YUKSOM 16 KM 7 HRS

After breakfast walk down to Yuksom on arrival check inn to Hotel and take hot bath after the trek evening time free and easy night time take last dinner with barbeque party after successes the trek and said bye to all the trekking staff over night at Yuksom,

DAY 13 : YUKSOM – DARJEELING

After breakfast transfer you Darjeeling on a journey drive through picturesque tea gardens to the world renowned hill station, Darjeeling. Perched on an altitude of 2134m, Darjeeling is set amidst a majestic backdrop of the great Himalayan peak of Kanchenjunga (3rd highest peak in the world at 8586m) and is regarded as the Queen of East India. On the way stop at Sikkim-West Bengal borderline area for immigration after lunch drive to Darjeeling 2 Hrs journey to Darjeeling evening time free & easy

DAY 14 : DARJEELING SIGHTSEEING

Depart hotel at about 4am for Tiger Hill (2585m) for sun rising view and a panoramic view of the spectacular snow-clad mountain peaks of the Himalayan Range.Visit to the Ghoom Monastery, built in 1850 by Lama Sharb, which enshrines a 15ft. Statue of Maitreya Buddha back to hotel for breakfast after breakfast start sightseeing around city area visit the Himalayan Zoological Park. The zoo serves as a breeding center for snow leopards and red pandas, as well as a home for mountain yaks, Himalayan black bears and Siberian Tigers. Visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, located within this zoo, which was founded in 1954 to commemorate history's first successful conquest of Mt. Everest in 1953 by 'Darjeeling's son, Tenzing Norgay and Sir Edmund Hillary. Then proceed to Tibetan Refugee evening free and easy walk around the local market area.

DAY 15 : DARJEELING - BAGDOGRA-DELHI

After breakfast check out from hotel then transfer to domestic flight to Delhi 04 Hrs journey to Bagdogra open arrival at Delhi welcome by local representative then transfer to hotel evening free and easy over night at Delh.

DAY 16 : DELHI - HOME

After breakfast as per your flight secludes transfer to international airport.
